Worcester Warriors will do battle with London Wasps in the Guinness A League this evening at Sixways Stadium (kick-off 7.30pm).
Groundstaff at Sixways worked throughout the morning as every attempt was made to make the pitch playable before the scheduled fixture.
The pitch has now been given the green light to play on and Worcester Warriors can finally look forward to some competitive action in 2009.
Debenture and Season Ticket holders are reminded they can gain free entry to tonight’s fixture. Adults can also enjoy the game for £3 and juniors gain free access.
