Worcester Warriors prop star Matt Mullan missed out on making his England Saxons debut after the ice cold weather hit.
Mullan was set to start in the front row for England Saxons in their match against Ireland A, scheduled for Donnybrook on Friday night, until the game was called off due to a frozen pitch.
The decision was made for reasons of player safety, with French referee Jerome Garces deeming the pitch unsuitable minutes after the match had been scheduled to kick off.
