Time to party at final home game

With the final day of the Guinness Premiership season on home soil against London Irish fast approaching, preparations are well underway to ensure we end the season in style with a real Sixways party!

To celebrate the end of what has been another eventful season at Sixways Stadium, there will be lots of fun and games before, during and after the London Irish match on Saturday, April 25 (kick-off 3pm).

After the match – and hopefully another Warriors win – come and join the Warriors for the Pitch View Party. From 5pm onwards in the Pitch View, supporters will be able to celebrate the end of the season with the Warriors players. As well as player appearances, there will be a DJ playing all your favourite party classics, as well as food available to purchase.

Tickets for the event, priced at £5, are available by contacting the Sixways Commercial Office on 01905 459347.

The match will also see Sixways host the Guinness Festival – a chance for fans to pit their rugby skills against the Guinness Premiership captains and Directors of Rugby on a series of interactive games!

The 12 club captains had their pass measured on the Guinness Power Pass with Pat Sanderson registering 21.2 mph putting him in the middle of the Captain’s table, just above London Irish’s Bob Casey. No doubt, he will be hoping for similar success on the pitch.

At the festivals, before checking out the match action, fans will have the chance to win prizes, test their rugby skills and enjoy a pint of the black stuff.

There will be opportunities for visitors to test their reactions on the Guinness Rugby Reflex and see how quick their hands are on Guinness Power Pass. All scores from the challenges throughout the season will be added together to see which club is crowned ‘Guinness Festival Champions’. Everyone taking part will also have the chance to get their hands on season tickets and other Guinness merchandise.

Lee Bailey, Sponsorship Manager from Guinness, said: “We know there are certain games throughout the season that people really look forward to.

“The Guinness Festivals will add to the atmosphere and enjoyment of these matches and, whatever the result on the pitch, they can enjoy a pint of the black stuff and test themselves against fans at other clubs and also the power and speed of Guinness Premiership players.”
