Duo enjoy Warriors egg-stravaganza

Kings Hawford School Worcester played host to one of this Easter’s Worcester Warriors Premier Rugby Academy Camps which saw first team giant Craig Gillies and front row ace Chris Horsman making appearances.

The players spent time coaching and talking with potential future Warriors sharing points to improve their rugby skills and valuable experiences from their careers.

The three-day camp, for children between the ages of five and 12, saw 45 keen rugby players from throughout Worcestershire have an enjoyable experience playing conditioned games and developing their core skills with Warriors Community coaching team.

“The players worked exceptionally well and as always the certificates and prizes we award were very hard to decide,” said Community Rugby Manager Steve Joslin

“A lot of fun was had by all and to have the involvement and experience of Chris and Craig was fantastic, the children really took to them.”

The next Warriors Premier Rugby Academy Camps are taking place in the May half term; further details are available on the Warriors community page www.warriors.co.uk or in the community office 01905 454183.
