Players prove they are a cut above

Four players from Worcester Warriors proved they were a cut above the rest – when they make an appearance at a city hair salon to promote a Charity Ball at Sixways Stadium.

Tom Wood, Chris Pennell, Callum Black and Graham Kitchener all let their hair down, popped on the curlers and even got a short back and sides when they visited Avant Garde Hair Salon on Berkeley Way, off Brindley Road, Worcester.

The trimmed quartet got a quick-fire makeover at the new salon to show support for a Charity Ball being hosted by Avant Garde at the home of the Warriors on November 14 that will raise money for Noah’s Ark Trust.

Noah’s Ark Trust is a registered charity that was founded in 1998 to provide grief support to bereaved children and young people in Worcestershire. It is funded with grants from Children in Need, Comic Relief, the Big Lottery Fund, Worcestershire County Council, and other donations.

Avant Garde intends to raise as much money as possible with a fashion show and charity black tie ball. The salon will also provide anybody who is attending the ball with a discounted hair cut or colour. The salon is available seven days a week and they are also open from 9am until 9pm four nights a week. Please quote the charity ball when booking.

People interested in attending the Charity Ball should call Avant Garde on 01905 758880.
