Worcester Warriors centre Alex Grove enjoyed a winning full Scotland debut as he played a big part in the 23-10 victory over Fiji on Saturday.
All action midfielder Grove, a product of the Warriors Academy, featured in his very first game at Murrayfield and helped ensure coach Andy Robinson got his competitive Scotland Test career off to a winning start.
The 21-year-old announced his arrival on the international stage with a thumping early hit on Fiji full back Josh Matavesi and Grove also showed some fine creative touches during his 80 minute display.
Grove will now hope to push his claims to get the chance to face Australia next weekend at Murrayfield.
