Worcester Warriors back row Jake Abbott enjoyed success with England Sevens at the weekend as they secured the Plate by defeating hosts South Africa.
England had been impressive in defeat to New Zealand in the quarter finals of the main tournament and after moving into the Plate competition outplayed Australia 24-5 to advance.
The English side proved too hot for the host nation in George and secured a 21-7 win in the final.
Abbott will return to Warriors this week after his exploits in Dubai and South Africa in recent weeks.
