Warriors make them fit for business

A group of Worcester business women from the Ladies in Business networking club made sure their bodies as well as their minds were fit with a personal training session on Wednesday by one of the Worcester Warriors.

The training session was won by Ladies in Business member Linda Baylis of Thursfields Solicitors in a charity raffle held at a recent LiB event.

Stuart Pickering, Strength and Conditioning Coach at Sixways, put the six business women through their paces with a circuit training session at Sixways. The session lasted 45 minutes and included squats, lunges, press ups and sit ups.

“I was delighted to win the training session with Stuart,” smiles Linda Baylis. “Not only was this a fun way of learning some new fitness techniques, but the raffle at the Ladies in Business event raised £220 for the Worcester Breast Care Unit. This figure was then matched by Lloyds TSB Bank in Worcester, meaning we could give £440 to the charity.

Stuart Pickering added: “Linda and her colleagues did really well, and showed a great level of fitness and enthusiasm! Circuit training is great for improving fitness levels and for getting results. This was a great way of raising money for the Worcester Breast Care Unit.”
