Worcester Warriors centre Andy Short grabbed a superb try double as England Regional Academies XV defeated Wales Under-20s with a 34-26 victory at Cross Keys on Thursday.
Academy prospect Short, who has come through the AASE scheme at Sixways, scored his first effort after being released by full back Jack Wallace to show his speed and race in under the posts.
The impressive jet-heeled centre grabbed another try before the end as England secured a big scalp and dented Wales as they prepare for next month’s World Championships in Argentina.
