A common theme of rugby can be seen in Modus Creative’s support of the local Worcestershire community.
Marking the end of the rugby season, Modus have recently sponsored the Worcester University rugby varsity team against Gloucester University, as well as hosting/sponsoring the Modus Challenge Cup for the past 3 years, the long standing city derby between King’s School and RGS; and most recently the Modus Creative Charity Challenge Cup between the Warriors Staff and local School Teachers from around the County – supporting the Matt Hampson Trust.
And the rugby theme is continued in Modus’ business success in their capacity as Worcester Warriors’ design and creative partner.
Modus Creative’s Guy Marson explains: “Everyone in the Modus team is a rugby fan, and showing our commitment to the community through a sport which the city holds so dear, makes perfect sense. From our pride in and dedication to the Warriors, to supporting the up and coming talent seen in the Modus Challenge Cup and the University varsity team, we hope to encourage and promote these players as far as we can.”
Simon Lane is the Worcester Warriors’ Community Coach and Head of Rugby at Worcester University who has worked with Modus Creative on numerous occasions: “Worcester University plays in BUCS (British University and College Sport) Premier B North, which is the second highest University division in the country, and for a University of Worcester’s size that is quite an achievement. The players have worked hard and shown great commitment towards their sport this year, recently capped off with their varsity game against the University of Gloucestershire at Kingsholm.
“As a squad we rely heavily on support from external sponsors, and Modus Creative added greatly to the occasion for all of the players involved by donating a set of warm up t-shirts. Members of the Modus Creative also came down to Gloucester to cheer the guys on. As team coach, it is great to be able to reward the efforts and hard work of the players, as well as adding to the professional look and feel of the squad, and I would like to thank Modus for their generous help and support.”
