Season Tickets for the 2010/11 campaign with Warriors are now even greater value for money – with an extra home cup game and a pledge that means you can beat the Chancellor!
While Chancellor George Osborne has hiked up VAT from 17.5% to 20% from January 2011, the Warriors have now announced our very own VAT increase – more Value Added Teams!
Warriors can confirm we will play THREE home games in the British & Irish Cup next season –meaning an extra game is included in the Season Ticket package taking it up to 18 fixtures.
Season Ticket holders who renew before the deadline of 5pm on July 1 – to guarantee the same seat in the same stand – can also beat the VAT increase with our pledge to freeze their Season Ticket price no matter what for the 2011/12 season.
Charlie Little, General Manager at Warriors, said: “We have pledged to all Season Ticket holders that renew before July 1 that their Season Ticket price this year will be the same as next year when the plan is to return to the Guinness Premiership.
“Due to the Chancellor’s 2.5% rise in VAT to come in January 2011, even if we keep the ticket prices the same, the VAT means that Season Tickets will rise next year. Therefore there is even more reason, we believe, to renew your Season Ticket and guarantee the price freeze for next year.
“When we put together our Season Ticket package we could only announce our confirmed 17 games,” added Mr. Little.
“However, as we will be replacing Exeter Chiefs in the British & Irish Cup, we can announce there will be three home cup games at Sixways next season.
“All three will be included in the Season Ticket package and therefore this year, for the first time ever, 18 guaranteed fixtures will be included. Matches in the British & Irish Cup will take place at Sixways on the weekends on 10/11/12 December, 21/22/23 January and 25/26/27 February.
“With just over a week before the renewal date, the feeling within the rugby camp is very strong and positive. All the players are champing at the bit to start the season and we hope that our loyal supporters will commit to a Season Ticket and be there with us.”
