Season Ticket deadline extended

Worcester Warriors has announced the deadline for Season Ticket holders to renew for the 2010/11 campaign has been extended until Friday, July 9 – following demand and in recognition of the recent positive news at Sixways.

Warriors have this season made Our Pledge to reward loyal fans for their commitment by not only reducing prices but also vowing to keep this price the following season. That means supporters can even beat the Chancellor and not have to worry about the VAT rise next season.

Fans originally had until July 1 to guarantee reserving their chosen seat in their chosen stand at pledge renewal rates.

However, due to the number of applications currently being processed and further announcements in the coming days, that deadline has now been extended to July 9.

The excitement is already growing ahead of the new season with the squad now finalised, following today’s signing of Tom Arscott, and Head Coach Richard Hill outlining his plans to bring success back to Sixways.

Our pre-season schedule has been revealed with a free additional home game against Stourbridge – that will form part of the annual Warriors Open Day – and Magners League giants Newport Gwent Dragons visiting us, as part of the Season Ticket package, on Tuesday, August 17.

Our Championship fixtures – that kick off with a mouth-watering local derby with Birmingham & Solihull on August 28 – have been unveiled and exact dates for all home league games are due to be announced tomorrow.

Season Tickets for the 2010/11 campaign are also officially the best better value for money ever as a further game has been added to the original package now we have three confirmed home British & Irish Cup games. Further details of cup dates and opposition are due to be released soon.

The interest ahead of the new season has seen renewals rise in recent weeks and the club is now eager to allow as many supporters as possible to renew and back the Warriors in the season ahead.

“We have been really pleased with the number of loyal Warriors taking their seats for the Championship challenge and so we have decided to extend this deadline until July 9,” said Tom Ryder, Marketing Manager at Warriors.

“The club has been able to make a number of very positive announcements in the last few weeks and the squad recruitment and our plans under Richard Hill have clearly captured the interest of our supporters with the increased number of renewals coming in.

“With dates for our Championship and British & Irish Cup games at Sixways set to be announced in the coming days, we felt it was only right to extend the deadline to give our fans enough time to renew and join us next season for what I’m sure will be a successful campaign.”

Season Ticket holders are reminded they can sign up for pledge renewal rates at any time before 5pm on Friday, August 6 but after July 9 the club cannot guarantee reserving their chosen seat in their chosen stand.
