Ticket prices reduced for new season

Worcester Warriors has today announced that match day ticket prices have been reduced for the 2010/11 RFU Championship season.

The best way to watch Warriors in action at Sixways remains to purchase a Season Ticket. Buying a Season Ticket for the 2010/11 campaign is better value for money than ever before, with the club including 18 home games. Other benefits include free entry to home matches in the A League, free travel to Sixways from various city locations on match days and priority booking in the latter stages of all competitions.

The club also remains dedicated to continuing to offer supporters real value for money on a match to match basis and has now cut ticket prices ahead of the new RFU Championship campaign with no tickets priced more than £30.

Supporters who use the on-line ticketing system at the official club website – www.warriors.co.uk – will continue to make the biggest savings with prices starting from as low as £14 for adults and £7 for juniors for Ground (Standing) admission.

Tickets bought from the Warriors Box Office before the day of the game also qualify for a discounted Advanced price. Advance sales are up to 4.30pm on the last working day before the match.

Charlie Little, General Manager at Warriors, said: “This is a very important year for the club and we want our fans to unite behind the Warriors and support our aims of an immediate return to the Premiership. As a club, we want to emulate Saints and come back stronger.

“Under our new Head Coach Richard Hill, we have strengthened our squad during the summer months and believe we’ve now got the best group of players assembled for many years at Sixways.

“We will be putting out a team that is packed full of international talent, with the likes of new signings Andy Goode and Neil Best, and hope to be able to play attractive rugby and create a winning culture in a family club environment.

“I’d stress to supporters that the best value remains our Season Ticket packages and we’ve been pleased with the uptake from our fans. We have also set our Match Day prices to a level that we feel represents value for those fans that are unable to commit to a Season Ticket.

“If we as a club and a city want Premiership rugby back then this is a crucial year and so I hope everyone joins us at Sixways to really back the Warriors during the 2010/11 campaign.”

Fans are advised that on sale dates for the pre-season friendly with Newport Gwent Dragons on Tuesday, August 17 and first home fixture with Birmingham & Solihull on Saturday, August 28 will be announced next week.
