Sixways will once again host a FREE ‘Warriors Open Day’ tomorrow (Saturday) – including a pre-season friendly with Stourbridge Saxons – and this year’s event will be the biggest and best yet!
The annual Open Day – which attracted crowds of over 3,500 last year – has become a special day in the club’s calendar as the doors are flung open to everyone with FREE admission to celebrate the forthcoming RFU Championship campaign.
The day kicks off at 10am and the real draw for many will be the interaction between the Warriors and supporters, with special meet the player sessions and the chance to grab all your autographs from the stars.
Activities planned on the day of fun include:
Stadium Tours – Get behind the scenes at Sixways! Meet at the North West corner throughout the day, starting at 10.30am until 12.30pm. Members of the back room team will be there to tell you all about what they do at Sixways.
Meet the Players – Players will be signing autographs and answering questions on the astroturf on the stadium pitch. Three sessions are planned at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm.
FragranceMad.com – When you are up at Sixways enjoying the Warriors’ open day, it makes perfect ‘scents’ while you’re there to sample some of the latest products, courtesy of club sponsors FragranceMad.com. The FragranceMad.com team will be joining in the fun at the open day, so look out for their fragrance girls who will be on hand with a sample bags full of freebies and samples from TIGI and Nivea and other top brands such as Piz Buin. Meet up with the girls at the FragranceMad stand and enter the Warriors Open Day competition to win £100 worth of fragrance. Simply tell the girls your favourite fragrance and email address to enter.
American Football – Gridiron comes to Sixways in September and we have the ultimate taster with demonstrations on the stadium pitch south west corner and also a stand inside the Sixways Lower.
Laser Shooting & Climbing Wall – Old Vicarage Adventure Centre provide an action-packed day in West Stand Car Park with shooting and climbing walls. An unforgettable way to spend your Open Day!
Police Dog Shows – See the best law enforcement on four legs in action! Events will be running in the West Stand Car Park at 1.45pm.
Fire Engine Display – Hot stuff as the local fire brigade show the equipment they use in hot situations!
Face Painting – Visit the West Stand Car Park to get your unique Open Day look!
Animal Ark – In the West Stand Car Park you can see a Barn Owl, lizards and even Boris the Boa Constrictor!
Inflatables – Bounce around and have some fun on the stadium pitch in front of the South Stand before Warriors take centre stage! Donations for this will go to Acorns Children's Hospice.
Mini Rugby & Tag coaching sessions – Young rugby hopefuls can get a taste of like at Sixways on the stadium pitch.
Astons Coaches – Ever wanted to know how the first team travel to away games. Well climb aboard the bus and find out away days Warrior style!
Malvern Hills Brewery – The famous Warriors Black Pear will be available to try out along with a host of refreshments across the complex. Visit the Sixways Lower for more information.
Exhibitions – Discover more about FragranceMad.com, Worcester Bosch, Smurfit Kappa, Carlsberg, Sci-Mx, Nuffield Health, Modus Creative and many, many more with stands in the Sixways Lower.
Warriors Rugby Supporters Club, WRFC & Worcester Ladies – Want to find out more about Worcester Ladies, the hugely successful amateur section and the new official supporters club. Displays will be around the Clubhouse and stadium complex. Worcester Wanderers are also playing two games on Westons kicking off at 12.30pm and 1.00pm.
Sunshine Radio – Jump aboard the bus in the West Stand car park!
Sixways Store – Open all day for you to enjoy great bargains and find out more about our new home and away kits and Acorns range!
It is sure to be a fun-packed day at Sixways and remember the day is FREE entry to all with doors opening at 10am.
Staff will also be on site to give you all the information you need about Season Tickets and how you can enjoy the new RFU Championship season with us at Sixways.

You can take the dizzy heights challenge or tackle inflatable rugby games! Police and dog displays will be on site and you can even enjoy a slice of Gridiron with American Football stars!
Live music will take place around the stadium, bars and food will be available so you can enjoy an unforgettable day!
The highlight of the day will see Warriors take on Stourbridge RFC on the stadium pitch in a pre-season game that kicks off at 3.00pm.
Entrance is free to everyone, so come along, bring a friend, and enjoy a day of family entertainment with the Warriors.
