The Comedy Club returns to Sixways

Entertainment comes to life when it’s LIVE and a night at The Comedy Club at Sixways on Thursday, September 9 is the proof in the pudding.

Comedy is good on TV, in fact comedy can be great on ‘the box’, but experience one night of live comedy entertainment at such a great venue as Worcester Warriors and you’ll be coming back every month plus giving the poor television a break! Purchasing tickets is easy and there are different options to suit your pocket. One thing remains though, you can enjoy three top comedians from the UK comedy circuit in a great value night out right here.

MC will be Karen Bayley who began her comedy career back in 2001 and since then she has gone from strength to strength. As resident compere at her own club in Sutton Coldfield, Karen honed her comedic talents and is now a well respected comic travelling the country entertaining the masses. Opening is Simon Feilder who during his first year on the comedy circuit reached the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards, the final of the Amused Moose Talent Quest and the final of the Laughing Horse New Act Competition.

Headline act is Rich Wilson who has loved comedy ever since his older next door neighbour gave him a cassette of Eddie Murphy-Delirious.”It was the most mind blowing thing I'd ever heard. My young ears had never heard language like it.” His comedy aspirations lay dormant until he got a job as a barman at a comedy club in Greenwich, South London, called Up The Creek. Then in 2004 following some back slapping by those around him, Rich Wilson hit the stage and even amazing himself, hasn’t looked back since.

The show includes waitress service, joke competition with prizes and food is available from 7pm until 8.15pm. Tickets are £12 or Members £10 and the show is over 18s only. Doors open at 7pm and show time is 8.30pm.
