Focus on the Crocus at Knights fixture

Help Worcester Vigornia Rotary Club and the Worcester Warriors free the world from polio. Join us by buying bulbs – priced at 5 for £5 – from this Saturday’s match with Doncaster Knights at Sixways Stadium.

For the last 25 years, Rotary has been working hard to rid the world of polio – a terrible disease that can kill or severely disable children.

Why do Worcester Vigornia Rotary and Worcester Warriors need your help? Well, the project starts now and will culminate in thousands of events and activities on and around Rotary Day on February 23, 2011.

Members of the Sixways squad will join Chairman Cecil Duckworth next month to plant bulbs at Warriors and you can play your part today by buying a bulb.

Millions of bulbs will be planted in October which will flower in February 2011. The humble little crocus symbolises a colourful splash of hope for a new beginning and renewed efforts.

Members of the Rotary will be selling bulbs around the Sixways complex on Saturday. For more information click www.ribi.org
