Supporters who hit the bar in the Scrum Club can now enjoy a world first from this Saturday’s game against Doncaster Knights – with pints produced even quicker thanks to a revolutionary new drinks system being launched at Sixways!
Worcester Warriors will this Saturday become the first sporting stadium in the world to host the TRUfill system – designed and built by Manitowoc – that will improve bar service for our fans.
A perfect pour is now created from the base of the pint and takes just seconds so you can get back to watching the action as soon as possible!
As a commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and reducing the impact of our operations on the local and global environment, we will also be using biodegradable TRUfill pint glasses that can be reused after washing indefinitely. Supporters can play their part by returning their empty TRUfill pint glasses to the Scrum Club bar.
On purchase of a drink, supporters will be issued with a TRUfill stamp card. For each empty TRUfill pint glass that is returned to one of our cashiers, a stamp will be issued on their GLASS RETURN CARD. Collect six stamps and you can exchange your card for a FREE pint of and draught product (in the TRUfill Scrum Club only). There are also two designated recycling bins outside of the Scrum Club for TRUfill glasses only.
Brian Ryan, Events Operations Manager, said: “We always strive to improve the match day experience for our supporters at Sixways and we are very excited by this new bar improvement.
“Sixways will be the first site in the world to have the TRUfill system permanently installed meaning our fans we now get a drink ever quicker when they visit the Scrum Club.
“It is an amazing sight to see a pint poured from the bottom up and so we would encourage our fans to visit the Scrum Club and see it in action for the first time this Saturday!”
Supporters are also reminded they enjoy a special pre-match offer at the game with Doncaster Knights this Saturday with a 'Buy Two Pints of Beer for £5' deal!
The promotion will run from 12pm to 2pm around the stadium complex and the offer applies to any purchase of two pints of Carlsberg Lager, Tetley's Smooth Flow or Strongbow from any public bar or Debenture Bar. Please note this is not available in hospitality bars and offer excludes Guinness, Warriors Ale and Warriors Black Pear.
The offer is only available between 12pm and 2pm and at the time of purchase and cannot be redeemed at a later time or date. Fans do not need to purchase two of the same product to receive the offer (i.e. can be 1 x Carlsberg and 1x Tetley's for £5) The offer will end promptly at 2pm.
Meanwhile, as part of our continued plans to upgrade our food provision on matchdays, all catering on site will now be in house with two new mobile catering units.
Two new units, one on the North East Concourse and one in the South East Food Village, will serve Ragley Estate Meats Quarter Pounder Burgers and also Ragley 4oz Hot Dogs with chips. We will also be introducing speciality burgers throughout the season such as Lamb and Mint Burgers, Lamb Kofta Burgers, Pork and Apple Burger and Chilli Beef Burger.
