Rhythmic rugby aces join singing contest

Sponsors of charity singing contest Last Choir Standing Corporate Event 2010, Postcode Anywhere, are thrilled to be singing alongside the more musical members of the Worcester Warriors this week.

Adam Black, who plays prop for the Warriors, will be swapping his boots and ball for a baton and maybe a bow tie and kicking his fellow team mates into touch.

Rehearsals are already underway as they prepare to compete in the charity sing-off to raise funds for blood cancer charity, Leukaemia CARE.

Joining Adam will be Alex Crockett, Miles Benjamin, Will Bowley, Willie Walker, Chris Fortey, Kai Horstmann, Tom Arscott, Ed Shervington and hopefully a few more.

The brave Warriors will be changing their usual signature tune for something completely different but keeping their repertoire a closely guarded secret. However, rumour has it that the audience will be treated to a display of nifty choreography as well as harmonious voices.

The corporate singing event, which takes place this Thursday (November 4) at the Forum, Malvern Theatres is expected to exceed its 2009 fund raising target of £10,000.

Also joining in the fun are choirs representing Ballard Dale Syree Watson, Fort Royal Community Primary School, King Charles 1 School, Leukaemia CARE, Malvern Theatres, Postcode Anywhere, Thursfields Solicitors and the Worcestershire Ambassadors.
