Top designs unveiled for Boxing Day

A huge thank you to all our young supporters who entered our once in a lifetime competition to design the playing shirt that Worcester Warriors will wear in the RFU Championship clash against Moseley on Boxing Day.

We were inundated with entries as over 350 young Warriors got creative and sent us a wide array of creations for our big Christmas fixture. The top three designs – with all supporters who entered under the age of 16 – have now been selected ahead of the players picking the winner and wearing it for our festive local derby day.

Eleanor Ward sent us many top designs but was one of those selected for her orange shirt that features Acorns across the front and back.

Belinda Bailey was also celebrating after her black top – with striking blue lightning bolt – was also one of the favourites of the judging panel.

Finally, Cammi Fletcher, from St Egwins CE Middle School in Evesham, was picked out for her cheerful effort that features plenty of smiling faces!

Our top three were special guests during our RFU Championship game with Plymouth Albion and went on the stadium pitch at half-time to meet Miles Benjamin and Matt Mullan and receive replicas of their shirt designs.

The winning shirt design will be announced in the coming weeks ahead of our big Boxing Day bash.

After the Boxing Day game, all the shirts will be auctioned off to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice. For more information on Acorns please visit www.acorns.org.uk
