Pupils from Chase High School in Malvern and Bishop Perowne High School Worcester have recently completed the Warriors Community Project ‘Walk Like A Warrior’.
The ten-week project uses rugby as a tool to engage children to help develop various life skills, building their confidence whilst at the same time teaching them practical rugby skills and the importance of teamwork.
Children from the school recently completed the project by visiting Sixways and catching up with first team star Jake Abbott.
Over the last year the project has expanded to include schools from Malvern, Evesham and Worcester, and with the help of the project partners is looking to expand even further across the region.
Worcester Warriors would like to thank Worcester Community Housing, Festival Housing and West Mercia Police for their support which was vital in providing these youngsters with this fantastic opportunity.
