Positive outlook for Williams and King

Head Coach Richard Hill has revealed positive news over injured duo Andy Williams and Greg King following the British & Irish Cup game with Plymouth Albion on Saturday.

Both players were sent to hospital for precautionary x-rays after being forced off injured during the cup victory at Sixways Stadium.

However, Hill has confirmed both players should be able to return ahead of the RFU Championship play offs after avoiding any long-term damage.

“The news over both players is encouraging,” said Hill. “Greg King has suffered only bruising to his face so he will be available for us in the coming weeks.

“Andy Williams suffered a broken bone in his right hand, but the outlook is very positive and we fully expect him to return to action ahead of the RFU Championship play-offs.”
