The British & Irish Cup fixture between Worcester Warriors and Currie RFC taking place tonight (Wednesday) will now take place at Malleny Park after the pitch passed a morning pitch inspection.
The cup fixture was due to be switched to Watsonians pitch at Myreside in Edinburgh with the 4G at Murrayfield as a back-up.
However, the playing surface at the home of Currie RFC has improved over the last 24 hours and has this morning been cleared by officials – in consulation with Warriors coaching team – for the fixture. The cup match will kick off at 7.30pm.
