Short and Kvesic all set for Irish finale

England Under-20 Head Coach Rob Hunter retains Worcester stars Andy Short and Matt Kvesic as he makes six changes for the 6 Nations game against Ireland on Friday night in Athlone (kick-off 7.45pm).

Gloucester Rugby centre Ryan Mills, London Irish wing Jonathan Joseph, Bath Rugby scrum half Chris Cook, Northampton Saints hooker Mike Haywood and Leicester Tigers flanker Matt Everard all come into the starting XV for the Grand Slam deciding fixture.

England are well placed in the group with four wins from four and Head Coach Rob Hunter says that he will have no problem motivating his side as they aim for a first clean sweep since 2008.

He said: “Ireland will be tough, they are the defending champions and they rarely lose in Athlone. We’ve had an excellent tournament so far and we know what’s at stake on Friday night. We’ll be focusing purely on performance and matching the challenge that Ireland represent.”
