Sixways is sold out for final encounter!

Worcester Warriors is pleased to announce that the RFU Championship Final second leg against Cornish Pirates at Sixways Stadium on Wednesday (May 18) is now a complete sell out!

Huge interest in the home leg of the final over the last ten days has seen tickets sell at an incredible rate and now all have been sold to ensure a capacity crowd will be at the home of the Warriors as the team strives for promotion back to the Aviva Premiership.

Warriors will take a nine-point lead into the second leg after tries from Miles Benjamin and Andy Goode secured a 21-12 victory in the first leg at the Mennaye Field in Penzance.

Charlie Little, General Manager at Warriors, said: “We are absolutely delighted that we will have a full house for this massive fixture as we aim to secure a return to the top-flight.

“The interest in the final has been simply phenomenal over the last week-and-a-half and we now look forward to a special night under the floodlights at Sixways.

“Our supporters really played their part by creating a truly special and memorable atmosphere in the semi-final with Bedford Blues and I’m sure they will now turn up the volume once again and look to roar the Warriors to success.”
