Hill’s high praise for departing Warriors

Worcester Warriors have confirmed a number of player departures following the club’s successful RFU Championship promotion winning season.

Preparations are now underway for a return to the top-flight and a place in the Aviva Premiership as Head Coach Richard Hill looks to develop and enhance his playing squad.

Among those confirmed as moving on to new clubs are Callum Black (Ulster Rugby) and James Collins (Sale Sharks) while Will Bowley, Rob Higgitt, Graham Kitchener, Oriol Ripol, Willie Walker, Andy Williams have all reached the end of their contracts. Adam Black and Greg Rawlinson will both retire from professional rugby.

Head Coach Hill said: “Every single player in the squad has played their part in a memorable and very successful season in the RFU Championship.

“I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of myself and the coaching staff, to thank them for their efforts during their time at Sixways. They have all been true Warriors this season and we wish them well for the future.”
