Goode hits new high in league history

Worcester fly half Andy Goode clocked up another career milestone as Warriors got the new Aviva Premiership season off to a winning start with a 17-12 victory over Sale Sharks.

Former England ace Goode slotted two conversions before his 73rd minute penalty saw his overtake Jonny Wilkinson as the second highest points scorer in Premiership history.

Charlie Hodgson leads the table with the Saracens player on 1876 points while former Worcester fly half Shane Drahm also features in ninth on 1185 points.
