Gray captains Cavaliers against United

Fly half Danny Gray will captain Worcester Cavaliers as they face Bath United in a friendly fixture at Sixways Stadium on Monday night (kick-off 7.30pm).

Gray is named in a strong back line that also includes full back Errie Claassens and Fiji international Ravai Fatiaki.

Fit again prop George Porter plays in front row while Richard Muagututia, Tom Leach and Nile Dacres make up the back row.

“We’re very much looking forward to the game and it is a great opportunity to face new opposition as haven’t played Bath in an A fixture for the best part of five years,” said Academy Manager Andrew Stanley.

“It’s important we keep the impetus from the A League season and this is not just a friendly. We take every game seriously and want to win.

“Quite a few of the boys have used the A League as a springboard to the senior team. It is important for them to push their claims in games like this and players like Chris Pennell, Sam Betty, Matt Kvesic and Oliver Tomaszczyk all featured in the first half of the campaign.”

Fans are advised that entry to the game at Sixways is a suggestion donation of £1 with all money going to the Warriors Community Foundation. For further details on the Warriors Community Foundation please click HERE
