All tickets now allocated for Scarlets clash

Worcester Warriors would like to advise supporters that all available match day tickets have now been issued for the pre-season friendly with Scarlets this Saturday (August 18) at Sixways Stadium.

Adult Season Ticket holders for the 2012/13 campaign were given two additional tickets for friends and family for the Scarlets fixture as a thank you from the club for their support ahead of the big league kick-off next month.

Combined with a huge response from fans eager to buy tickets to watch the opening pre-season game at the home of the Warriors, all seats inside Sixways Stadium have now been allocated for Saturday’s fixture.

Fans are now advised there will be no tickets available to purchase on the day of the game from the Warriors Box Office. Only supporters with valid tickets should make the trip to Sixways.

Warriors are also in action against Rotherham Titans on Tuesday (August 21, kick-off 7.30pm) and Plymouth Albion on Friday (August 24, kick-off 7.30pm).

Entry to both these games will be FREE to all supporters, but with a suggested donation to the Warriors Community Foundation on the turnstiles.

“Following a good first performance away to Cardiff Blues last weekend, we have seen a very encouraging level of interest in the Scarlets fixture this weekend,” said Managing Director, Charlie Little.

“It is well documented that we have brought in a new Attack Coach and certainly on Saturday we saw more line breaks and tries again Cardiff than maybe we have previously seen.

“In terms of Saturday, we chose to reward our Season Ticket holders with an additional ticket allocation to this game and allow them to introduce more people to the Warriors ahead of an exciting season.

“The weather promises to be good, the pitch is in excellent condition and the stadium is nearly ready and so we would encourage our Season Ticket holders to use their tickets and bring people to Sixways on Saturday.

“Those unable to make it this weekend also need not worry. We play Rotherham Titans next Tuesday and Plymouth Albion next Friday at Sixways and both these games are an opportunity to see the Warriors for free ahead of the Aviva Premiership opener with Bath on September 1.”
