Greene King IPA new Official Beer of Warriors!

Worcester Warriors are delighted to announce an exciting five-year deal with Greene King IPA that will see it become the new ‘Official Beer’ at the Aviva Premiership club.

Greene King IPA has become synonymous with rugby union in the past few years with a raft of sponsorships that has seen it support the sport from grassroots through to the international game.

As well as being the new official Brewery partner with Warriors, it has similar sponsorship deals in place with England Rugby at rugby HQ Twickenham, Aviva Premiership champions Harlequins and London Wasps.

Greene King has operated pubs and brewing for over 200 years. Combining successful traditional ale brands with modern forward thinking, Greene King has grown steadily from its base in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk to become a leading pub retailer and brewer.

Brian Ryan, Head of Operations at Warriors, said: “We are all very excited by our new partnership with Greene King IPA, who have strong and successful ties with England rugby and a number of other leading Aviva Premiership clubs.

“Greene King IPA supports the club’s vision as we look to give our fans a fantastic range and choice when they visit Sixways. We have plans for further developments with them in the next few months as we look to enhance the match day experience at Warriors.

“As a club, we would like to also go on record to thank Carlsberg for their fantastic support over the last eight years. We now look forward to our new relationship with Greene King IPA and hope our fans enjoy our new offering.”

Greene King Brewing and Brands Marketing Director, Dom South said: “This five-year deal is great news for Greene King as well as Worcester Warriors. It means that Greene King IPA – the club’s official beer – will be available throughout the Sixways Stadium, improving access to quality cask ale for thousands of thirsty Warriors supporters. We look forward to working in partnership with everyone at Worcester and wish them all the best for a successful season ahead.”
