Purchase a ticket for Chairman’s Lunch

Tickets for this year’s Chairman’s Lunch are on sale NOW with Olympic gold-medal rower Zac Purchase MBE our special guest speaker.

Purchase will join a host of Warriors first team stars and coaches to talk about his rowing career and his Olympic experiences.

The Lunch will include a three-course meal in the sumptuous surroundings of Sixways Stadium’s most exclusive Slick Stand Suites.

Each table will include two Warriors stars and diners will have an opportunity to mingle with the players.

This year the Warriors Community Foundation will also be holding a raffle to raise money for their upcoming projects.

Purchase hit the headlines after winning a gold medal in the Lightweight Men's Double Scull at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Purchase and rowing partner Mark Hunter produced a majestic performance to dominate the race and set a new Olympic record on the way to their victory.

The duo teamed up again at London 2012 but had to settle for a silver medal after being pipped to the line by Denmark.

Purchase has won medals in a string of top-class rowing competitions and was awarded an MBE in 2009.

The 26-year-old is very familiar with Worcester after attending the city’s King’s School, where he started rowing in 1999.

Having experienced the determination and focus required for such a sporting career, Zac has proven to be an engaging and motivational speaker.

The Cheltenham-born rower will talk about the highs and lows leading up to Beijing and London, how he has learnt to cope under extreme pressure and the sacrifices he has had to make to stay at the top.

The Lunch will take place on Friday 5 October from 1pm-6pm and individual tickets cost £55 per person.

A table of eight guests and two Warriors players costs £550 and a table of ten guests and two Warriors players costs £660.
