Sixways will host the first Aviva Premiership game of 2013 on Friday night when Warriors face Leicester Tigers (kick-off 8pm) – and the club can confirm that the match is now set to be played in front of the biggest crowd of the season!
Warriors welcome last year’s Aviva Premiership finalists and will be aiming to extend an unbeaten home run which stretches back to the start of September and a narrow opening day defeat to Bath Rugby.
Tickets have been selling fast from the Warriors Box Office and supporters are advised to act quickly to avoid any disappointment. Fans can buy tickets NOW for the Fragrance Mad Stand (Blocks B-G) and the Elonex Stand (Blocks A-F).
Managing Director Charlie Little said: “Supporters have shown a huge amount of interest in the Leicester Tigers match over the last few weeks and we are now anticipating our biggest crowd of the season and a fantastic match day atmosphere.
“The groundstaff at Sixways have also been working tirelessly over the Christmas and New Year period to ensure the pitch is in the best possible condition.
“We are now encouraging fans who have not already purchased tickets to buy in advance to get the best possible seats and prepare for a huge start to 2013.”
