U18s face Leicester Tigers in rearranged fixture

Worcester Warriors U18s face Leicester Tigers this Sunday (6 January) after the original game was postponed at the end of last year.

The two sides were supposed to meet days before Christmas but a waterlogged pitch prevented the match from going ahead.

Mark Hewitt’s side will be looking for their first win after they opened their league campaign in mid-December with a narrow 23-20 defeat at Newcastle Falcons.

After going 14-0 down early on, Warriors will take heart from a second-half comeback which nearly saw them come away with a deserved victory.

Hewitt has made six changes to the team that faced Newcastle with Callum Young, Huw Taylor, Sam Smith, Ben Williams, Elliot Davies and Jackson Hughes all coming in. Number eight Louis Chaudron, who attends Ellesmere College, will again captain the side.

The match, which will take place on the training pitch at Sixways, kicks-off at 12pm and fans can watch for free.
