David Lemi’s try against Leicester Tigers on Friday night has been nominated for Aviva Premiership try of the week.
The pacey wing opened the scoring for Warriors with a swan dive in the corner following good work from centre Jon Clarke.
The touchdown helped Warriors to a 14-5 half-time lead before a late comeback gave the visitors a narrow victory.
It was the Samoan’s fifth Aviva Premiership try of the season and he is now the third top try scorer in the top-flight.
Lemi is up against Ken Pisi, Nick Abendanon, Chris Bell and David Strettle, who also impressed with their efforts at the weekend.
