Warriors take on Fire Walk for Sight Concern

Several daredevil members of the Warriors squad are planning to show they can handle the heat when they fire walk for charity next month!

James Percival, Shaun Perry, Ceri Jones, Richard de Carpentier, Ed Shervington and Jake Abbott will be walking across burning embers on the evening of Wednesday, March 20 as Warriors will face the fear of Walking on Fire!

The six Sixways stars will walk barefoot in the West Car Park at the stadium on the night from 8.30pm – and fans are welcome to come along and cheer.

Money raised will help Sight Concern Worcestershire, our county charity supporting blind and partially sighted people to lead independent and fulfilling lives

Sight Concern helps around 3,000 people each year affected by sight loss with support, information and services. As many as 10,000 people are affected across the county and currently and they must raise over £400,000 every year just to provide their existing services.

Sight Concern also promotes simple steps the public can take to help keep their eyes healthy. They offer free five-minute basic sight screening tests and healthy eating for eyes demonstrations to community groups across Worcestershire. For more information simply visit www.sightconcern.co.uk
