Claassens handed one game ban after red card

Errie Claassens has been suspended for one week following an RFU Disciplinary hearing on Tuesday evening.

The Worcester full back was sent off in the Aviva Premiership match at Gloucester Rugby on February 22 for tripping an opponent, Gloucester’s Jonny May, contrary to Law 10.4(d). He is suspended from February 23 until March 1 and free to play again on March 2. He will miss this Friday's game with London Wasps.

The case was heard at at the Coventry Holiday Inn (Jct2 M6) by His Honour Judge Sean Enright (chairman), John Brennan and Daniel White.
