Warriors prop Murray returns to Scotland squad

Euan Murray will return to the Scotland squad ahead of Saturday’s RBS Six Nations Championship match against Wales at Murrayfield.

The 32-year-old tight-head prop was unavailable for Scotland’s last match against Ireland last month and, instead, was part of the Warriors side which suffered last-minute defeat to Gloucester.

Warriors wing Nikki Walker has also been called-up to Scotland’s 35-man training squad as the side go in search of their third victory of the campaign.

Murray has played 10 times for Warriors since his move from Newcastle Falcons last autumn. Walker has appeared for Richard Hill’s side 13 times, scoring four tries.

Perpignan back-row Alasdair Strokosch is also available for selection after being sidelined because of a facial injury he suffered in the Calcutta Cup contest against England at Twickenham.
