Red Nose Day fever hits Sixways

As part of Premiership Rugby’s partnership with Comic Relief, Worcester Warriors have joined the other 11 Premiership rugby clubs by organising a Red Nose Day Ebay Auction.

The fantastic items include a Land Rover Driving Day with three Premiership rugby players, limited edition signed shirts and balls and even a cricket bat signed by Andrew Strauss.

All money raised will go straight to Comic Relief so click here to see the items up for grabs.

Next Thursday Warriors players are swapping the rugby pitch for the kitchen to raise funds for Comic Relief and Restart – the charity that supports ill and injured players.

Jake Abbott, Jonny Arr, Errie Claassens and Matt Mullan have taken up the challenge to bake and decorate 1,000 cupcakes.

They will then race around town selling their wares to local office staff to try and raise as much money as possible to help injured players and people living unimaginably tough lives in the UK and across Africa. The event is supported by Sainsbury’s and is in association with Silver Spoon.

You, too, can do something for Red Nose Day. Log-on to www.rednoseday.com to find out how to get involved.
