Under 17s defeated by strong Gloucester side

In preparation for next seasons under 18 Premiership League the Warriors Academy played an under 17 fixture against Gloucester. Worcester blooded twelve under 16’s against a very competitive Gloucester team.

Following a tight first quarter Gloucester’s extra experience told as they raced into a 15-0 lead after two tries, one conversion and a penalty.

The score stayed that way into the second-half when the Warriors got on the board with a converted try. Both sides made numerous changes and the game broke up a little.

Gloucester scored a further unconverted try to make the final score 20-7 in what was an excellent exercise for both sets of players.

The Warriors play English Colleges under 19s next Sunday then take an Under 17 side to Northampton the following Saturday.
