Worcester Warriors can confirm that Aleki Lutui will leave the club at the end of the season and join Edinburgh Rugby.
The Tongan international joined Warriors in 2006 and marked his debut with a try against Bath.
A former police officer, Lutui quickly became a favourite with fans and was later named Warrior-of-the-Year by his teammates after the 2010/11 Championship-winning campaign.
Named in the Tonga squad for the 2007 and 2011 Rugby World Cups in France and New Zealand respectively, Lutui captained his country on the biggest stage of all.
Fans will remember Lutui for his big hits, ball-carrying skills and an early forceful tackle on the final day of the 2006/07 season as Warriors secured their Premiership status with victory over Saracens.
He has gone on to play 186 games for Warriors, scoring 23 tries, and is the club’s fourth highest appearance maker of all time.
His final game at Sixways came against Harlequins on Saturday when he replaced Ed Shervington at half-time.
