The big home European clash between Warriors and Biarritz Olmpique is to be televised after the confirmed dates for the first four rounds of the Amlin Challenge Cup were today announced by ERC.
Worcester’s big game with the five time French champions and former Amlin Challenge Cup winners will be shown live on Sky Sports from Sixways on Thursday, December 5 (kick-off 7.45pm).
Dean Ryan’s men open the European season away from home as they travel to Oyonnax Rugby, champions of the Pro D2 last season, and Stade Charles Mathon on Saturday, October 12 (kick-off 6.30pm local time).
Worcester next entertain Sale Sharks at Sixways Stadium on Saturday, October 19 (kick-off 3pm) before the big televised double header with Biarritz.
Biarritz visit Warriors on Thursday, December 5 before the return clash between the two sides in the south of France at Parc des Sports Aguilera on Thursday, December 12 (kick-off 8.45pm local time). This game will also be screened on Eurosport France.
Warriors complete the European pool stages in the first month of 2014 when they travel to Salford City Stadium to face Sale before a home game with Oyonnax at Sixways. The exact dates for Rounds 5 and 6 will be confirmed after Round 4 of the competition is complete.
