Scottish centre Alex Grove is expected to miss the start of the Aviva Premiership campaign after injuring his groin during pre-season.
The centre is currently undergoing assessments from the medical staff at Sixways as he looks to recover from the injury.
Grove has been a key figure at Sixways since Warriors returned to the Aviva Premiership in 2011 and has racked-up 53 appearances in the last two seasons.
He appeared in all 22 top-flight matches last season and became a club centurion in last December’s clash with Sale.
