Amlin Challenge Cup returns to Sixways

The Amlin Challenge Cup returns to Sixways this afternoon when Warriors take on Sale Sharks (3pm kick-off).

Seated tickets in the East and North Stands are available up until kick-off from £19 for adults and £9.50 for juniors.

Dean Ryan’s side will be looking to build on last Saturday’s clash with Oyonnax, where they put in a resilient defensive performance before eventually drawing 9-9.

On a wet night in France, Warriors found themselves ahead for much of the game before Conrad Barnard levelled with the final kick of the game.

Sale Sharks secured victory in their opening European match of the season – seeing off Biarritz 33-10 at their newly-named AJ Bell Stadium.

It means Pool One of the Amlin Challenge Cup is wide open after the first round of matches – making today's encounter even more important as Warriors look to make their mark on the group.

Both clubs have named strong sides with Ryan opting to bring Chris Pennell, Josh Drauniniu, Mike Williams and captain Jonathan Thomas back into the starting line-up.

Sale have named Danny Cipriani, Mark Cueto and former Warrior Sam Tuitupou in their side as they aim for back-to-back Amlin Challenge Cup victories.
