Warriors boss Dean Ryan says his side must improve as a group if they are to hit form in the next block of Aviva Premiership matches.
His side lost 29-15 to Sale Sharks at Sixways on Saturday despite a promising second-half display.
And, according to the Director of Rugby, every player needs to show how much the club means to them.
He said: “We’ve a responsibility as a group to get better and we’ve a responsibility emotionally to demonstrate how much we care about this place.
“At the moment we’re not demonstrating that in a way I’m happy with and we’ve got to work harder to do that.”
Warriors travel to Exeter Chiefs next Saturday for their sixth Aviva Premiership clash of the season.
And Ryan admits his side need to up their game if they are to get a positive result.
He continued: “Selection is key. I’ve got to find the right way of challenging this group to get a response. We need to be better whether it’s Exeter round the corner or Bath.”
Despite Warriors’ difficult start to the season, Ryan insists he will not look outside the club to find a solution.
He added: “There hasn’t been one player available that will enhance this group significantly. If we go down that road there’s a danger that we repeat this three-year cycle and end up in the same place.
“The challenge of sorting this club out is making sure we get through this season without making decisions which compromise us in future years.
“When I came to this club and spoke to the board, I said I would make the right decisions for what this club will look like in the future and work hard to get the best out of this group in the short-term.
“Those two things are on-going. If we get it right it will be the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done in my life.
“Everybody needs to understand where we are as a club and understand the types of decisions we need to make to ensure we never find ourselves in this position again.”
