Senatore relishing Warriors debut under Sixways lights

New signing Leonardo Senatore is set to make his Warriors debut tonight against Bath Rugby at Sixways.

And the Argentinian international says he is excited about his first appearance at Sixways after missing the start of the season because of international duties.

He said: “I am excited to be involved and hopefully I can have an influence on the team. I have been itching to play and finally now I can get out on the pitch.”

The back-row insists he has settled in well since his arrival, having trained with his new teammates for the last few weeks.

He continued: “My time here so far has helped me to learn more about the club and the team. Everyone has helped me settle in.

“Every game is tough in this league but we are working really hard to get our first win.”

Senatore is set to start alongside fellow internationals Agustin Creevy and Mariano Galarza in the Warriors team this evening, and is targeting a first win of the season.

He concluded: “It will be a challenge this week but we want to show everyone that we can do it.

“It doesn’t matter who we are up against. Bath are a strong side but we are focused on our game.

“We have a good team and good coaches and we are training hard. We just have to get it right out on the pitch.

“We will give our all to get the win and we want to show everyone here at Worcester that we can play good rugby. I will try my best for this club.”
