Fatiaki taking his power game to Sale

Ravai Fatiaki says he will take his power game to Sale Sharks when Warriors return to Aviva Premiership action tonight.

The Fijian international is known for his carrying ability and big hits in defence and admits he will be aiming for more of the same against Sale.

He said: “We’ll have to go into the match head on. As always I will go in hard and try to help the team.

“I’ll be looking to carry hard and push forward to help the side but it will be a big team effort tonight.”

Fatiaki returned to the side for last week’s clash with Leicester Tigers after a spell on the sidelines.

And after an improvement in performances in recent weeks, the 26-year-old believes his side are heading in the right direction.

He added: “We can take huge confidence from the LV= Cup, especially the performances of youngsters like Ben Howard, Max Stelling, James Stephenson and Andy Symons.

“Our performances are improving and we’re starting to see the hard work on the training pitch transfer into matches.

“Sale are doing well. They’re physical so we will have to play some good rugby to match them.

“We’re all looking forward to getting out there and seeing if we can build on what we have shown in recent weeks.”
