Biarritz Olympique will travel to Sixways this Thursday (5 December) for the third round of this season’s Amlin Challenge Cup.
The French side will arrive with huge European pedigree, having played exclusively in the Heineken Cup between 2000 and 2011 before winning the 2012 Amlin Challenge Cup on their return to the competition.
They currently sit second in Pool One of the competition, with Warriors one place behind them.
Biarritz opened their European campaign with a 33-10 loss at Sale Sharks before cruising to a bonus-point victory at home to Oyonnax.
Warriors secured a hard-fought draw in Oyonnax on the opening weekend of the competition but were defeated by Sale in round 2.
It means Dean Ryan’s men could potentially overtake their rivals to go second with victory on Thursday before they travel to France for the return fixture next week.
