Director of Rugby Dean Ryan insists Warriors will fight till the end of the season after slipping to defeat against London Irish at the Madejski Stadium.
Australian full-back James O’Connor scored all 22 of Irish’s points as they overpowered Warriors in the second-half to run out 22-9 winners.
He said: “We’re aware the longer it goes without a win, the harder it gets but we’re not going to give up.
“We have to come out fighting and we won’t stop doing that every weekend for the rest of the season. We have Leicester at Sixways next in the league and we will give it a real crack. And we have to keep trying to grow.”
The former England number-eight believes his side didn’t compete in the areas that he feels are crucial in the wet conditions.
He continued: “We knew there wouldn’t be a huge amount of rugby to be played in the wet conditions but we didn’t manage the game well enough.
“We knew it was about managing field position and the set-piece and we came second in that.”
Despite the loss, Ryan insists his players are giving their all but admits they must learn from the defeat.
He concluded: “We have become a tight group over the last six or seven weeks. There are a lot of people who have worked really hard to turn the corner because we were pretty dysfunctional at the start of the season.
“Now, we must understand when we make mistakes, understand when we’re below par and then work hard to get better.
“I will support the players and try and help them learn. We will go back into training and try and do something about it and make sure we don’t allow the same mistakes to happen again.”
