Warriors youngsters help Midlands to victory

Eight players from Warriors’ EPDG set-up were selected for the Midlands Under 16 representative side which defeated their South West counterparts last weekend.

Warriors would like to congratulate all those involved and thank players, clubs and schools for their continued efforts this season.

Warriors’ EPDG set-up sees the club work closely with talented players right across the Midlands including Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Shropshire and Birmingham.

Academy Manager Mark Hewitt said: “I am delighted to see so many young players recognised with a place in the Midlands representative side.

“We have been working closely with these youngsters and credit must also go to their schools and clubs, who we have built very strong relationships with.”
