Lemi up for Try of the Week

Warriors are up for the Aviva Premiership Try of the Week award for the third round running after David Lemi’s fine solo effort against Exeter Chiefs last weekend.

The Samoan scored his fifth and sixth tries of the season making him Warriors' top finisher this term.

A loose ball was picked up by captain Jonathan Thomas who quickly switched the ball to Ravai Fatiaki on his left, and the ball was well worked via Ryan Lamb to Lemi who had plenty of work to do on the touchline with players in front of him.

But the quick-thinking wing sent a pin-point kick down field, raced past four Chiefs defenders before another little kick and collecting the ball to bundle over the tryline.
