Warriors Academy youngster Jack Cosgrove has been named in the Scotland Under 20 squad for the upcoming IRB Junior World Championship in New Zealand.
The loosehead prop, who played for his country in the recent RBS Six Nations Under 20s tournament, will fly out to New Zealand on May 24.
Cosgrove, 19, has been a regular for Worcester Cavaliers this season and was handed his Warriors debut in the
LV= Cup against Sale Sharks in January.
He said: “To get picked to go to the Junior World Championship is a massive honour. I can’t wait to get out there.
“We have a tough pool where we will be up against South Africa, New Zealand and Samoa but anything can happen.
“It’ll be ideal for me to play the best teams in the world. That way I can prepare myself for what is out there and hopefully that will make me stronger for Warriors next season.”
